Inventor develops an infrared detectors mask to identify high temperature in individuals

About the solution

A mask with two infrared detectors that detect temperature. The detectors are based on the Seed Studio Grove MLX90615 Digital Infrared Temperature Sensor.

The temperature data are shown through a Grove – OLED Display 1.12” V2.

The digital infrared temperature sensor above the mask can detect the self-body temperature in real time and show the temperature on OLED display.

The detector on the other side can detect the temperature of another person. If the other person’s temperature is normal, the RGB LED ring in the left eye part is green. If the other person’s temperature exceeds 38°C, the RGB LED ring will turn to red color and be accompanied by an alert.

The distance of the Digital Infrared Temperature Sensor will lead to different results. The inventor used a 6mm distance for detection. The body temperature formula needs to be adjusted accordingly to the actual situation of the detection.
